Past Tense

You know many verbs in present or present continuous, let´s learn about past, and we have two kinds of verbs regular and irregular verbs:

*For regulars verbs you add –ed to the infinitive form of the verb. Example:

dance

visited



*For irregulars verbs there are no rules. Each irregular verb has its own past simple.
Run, cook, sleep, clean, talk, dream, travel, jump, listen, write, love, dance, swim, try, shop, visit, go and eat.

wrote
swim
swam
try
Tried
go
went


Also we can ask in past too with the auxiliary Did.

Did you write a text?
Yes, I wrote a text
No, I didn´t

When we use auxiliary did the verb I written in infinitive but if we don´t have “did” the verb has to change.
